NEW ESPAR VEHICLE HEATER RUNS ON NATURAL GAS

Espar North America (part of a German-based company making exhaust technology, vehicle heaters and air conditioning systems) has announced that it has introduced the Airtronic NG Commercial, the first truck air heater powered by natural gas. Traditionally, Espar air heaters work independent of both the engine and of the vehicle’s own heat balance. By using the Airtronic NG, the engine and the heating can be powered by the same fuel tank. This saves installation space, saves installation costs and makes installation easier for OEMs and retrofitters. Espar is working with Truma Geratelchnik GmbH, Europe’s leading manufacturer of gas-fuelled heating systems in the leisure vehicle/motorhome sector. The Airtronic NG system was on display at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis March 5 to 7. For more information, go to www.espar.com.
