QUESTAR PLANS NEW CNG FUELING IN PHOENIX

On Thursday, Questar Fueling Company announced plans to build a CNG fueling station in Phoenix, Arizona. The public-access station, which will open later this year, will provide fast-fill CNG fueling for fleet operators with medium and heavy duty trucks, as well as the light duty consumer market. The station site is near Interstate 10 in Phoenix’s transportation and trucking hub. Once complete, Questar will be own and operate the new station. “We see Phoenix as a strong market for CNG fueling,” said Carl Galbraith, Questar Fueling general manager. “Our new station will be located near national trucking companies like Central Freight Lines and Swift Transportation.” Central Freight Lines, which currently operates 65 trucks in Houston and an additional 49 in Texas, is considering expanding its natural gas fleet to other areas of its service footprint.
