FREEDOM FUEL HOLDS GRAND OPENING FOR CNG STATION IN LOUISIANA

On Tuesday, Freedom Fuel held an official opening and dedication ceremonies for a new CNG station in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event was well attended by the public, local officials and the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. Local speakers included Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover and president of Eagle Distributing Brad Nichols. Other speakers included executive vice president/general manager of Isuzu Commercial Truck of North America Shaun Skinner and Former National Security Advisor to President Reagan Robert “Bud” McFarlane, who is currently a member of the U.S. Energy Security Council. The public station, which is located just off I-49, is capable of accomodating Class 8 heavy duty trucks as well as medium and light duty vehicles. Local fleets operated by Ivan Smith’s Furniture and Eagle Distributing will serve as the anchor fleets, and the station will also service traffic coming from Dallas, Tyler, Longview, Texarkana, Monroe and Alexandria.
