ADVANCED DISPOSAL BEGINS SERVICING DETROIT WITH NEW CNG FLEET

On Monday (June 2nd), Advanced Disposal will begin servicing Detroit, Michigan, with 56 new CNG trucks to collect garbage, yard waste and bulk waste. Advanced Disposal invested $22 million to service Detroit, which includes the expense of the new natural gas trucks and the necessary refueling infrastructure. The company is operating from its new location that is also the site of the new CNG station that opened last month. “Monday is the official start of what we hope will be a longstanding partnership with the City of Detroit and the 125,000 residents we will service on a weekly basis,” said Eric VanHouten, general manager for Advanced Disposal’s Detroit operations.
