Market/Education Outreach Presentations Make the Case for NGVs

NGVAmerica staff made the case for NGVs at several end-user events around the country recently. On September 23–24 at the NGVOK Conference & Expo, Stephe Yborra presented a two-hour mini-Compelling Case for NGVs session to kick off the “NGVs 101” track of this inaugural event hosted by NG Productions, spearheaded by Tulsa Gas Technologies, Oasis Engineering and the Tulsa Area Clean Cities. Stephe also participated on a panel discussion about targeted industry messaging. Additional panelists included Matt Slavin (NGV Today), Mark Smith (US DOE), Craig Dickson (Williams Cos.) and Rebecca Schenker (Gladstein Neandross & Associates) and the session was moderated by Scheryl Lovelady (Lovelady & Associates). The event featured a number of breakout sessions across several different level tracks (101, 201 and HD); a ~60 exhibitor expo; and a keynote luncheon panel of fleet business executives moderated by Gov. Mary Fallin. On September 25, at the Kansas Motor Carrier Association Annual Conference, Stephe participated on a panel about use of alternative fuels in trucking with co-panelists Scott Lavery (VP – Automotive Fleet Maintenance & Operations – Western Region, UPS) and a member of the Kansas Soybean Association.
