Clean Cities Hosting NGV Webinar Series Presented by Clean Fuels Consulting

The U.S. DOE Clean Cities is hosting a three part webinar series on NGVs presented by Dr. Jeffrey Seisler, CEO of Clean Fuels Consulting. The second installment in the webinar series is entitled “Technology, Best Strategies and Lessons Learned” and is scheduled for Nov. 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET. This webinar elaborates first on successful past technology choices and then suggests future technological pathways that can be taken for the U.S. to expand its use of NGVs, focusing on lessons learned from experiences in Europe and elsewhere. Highlights include gas composition harmonization opportunities and challenges; advances in engine technology; CNG cylinder incidents, safety, and lessons learned; and what NGV fueling station suppliers and their customers do to reduce costs and increase reliability.

The first webinar in the series, titled “NGVs Past and Prologue – Lessons Learned to Create Deployment Strategies for Commercializing NGVs: Global Overview of Markets and Poli-Techs (standards and regulations)” was presented Oct. 6. You can view the archived-recorded webinar and slides here. The third webinar in the series, titled “Role of Government—Policymaking and Strategy Process,” is scheduled Dec. 15 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
