Adsorbed Natural Gas Products to Present PHANGV® Technology at Upcoming Summit

Adsorbed Natural Gas Products (ANGP) will be presenting its PHANGV® (plug-in hybrid adsorbed natural gas vehicle) technology at the Energy Exchange Summit in Cleveland, Ohio from August 20 through August 23. ANGP’s bi-fuel 2018 Ford F150 achieves a range of 80 miles on low-pressure adsorbed natural gas (ANG) technology at 25 percent of CNG pressures before seamlessly switching to gasoline.

In June, ANGP received the Innovation Award for Transportation Driven by Gas at the World Gas Conference in Washington, D.C.

“We are extremely humbled to be recognized by the global natural gas community for our low-pressure technology that is geared to economically reducing greenhouse gas emissions from larger frame light duty vehicles, such as large SUVs, pick-up trucks and vans,” said Bob Bonelli, President and CEO of ANGP, on receiving the award. “Low-pressure operation is the key to economic and highly reliable private fueling, which enables the use of clean burning natural gas on these large platform light duty vehicles that is far superior to electrification in cost, weight and range.”

Bonelli will be speaking at the Summit about the future of natural gas vehicles in the US. ANGP’s PHANGV® F150 will be on display on the exhibition floor during the Energy Exchange Summit from August 20 through August 23, and ANGP is also a Platinum Supporter of the Summit.

ANGP’s low-pressure adsorbed natural gas technology has been advanced in partnership with Ingevity Corporation’s Nuchar® FuelSorb™ carbon monoliths. Ingevity will also be presenting a 2018 PHANGV® on August 22 and 23 at the Sustainable Fleet Conference and Expo in Durham, North Carolina.
