2019 NGVA Annual Meeting & Industry Summit Kicks Off Today!

NGVAmerica’s Annual Meeting and Industry Summit is the only dedicated natural gas in transportation alternative fuels conference and show focused on the North American market.

On-road, off-road and everything in between is featured, from traditional freight, refuse, and transit applications to growing marine, rail, and construction use. This year’s event  includes a session on mobile pipelining, or the on-road movement of natural gas where traditional pipeline infrastructure is unavailable.

This year’s event kicks off today and runs from Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia and is held in conjunction with the 2019 North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) Show, drawing thousands of industry stakeholders and commercial vehicle enthusiasts from around the world.

Advancing Sustainable Transport B-309
In 2018, 32 percent of all on-road natural gas used as transportation fuel was from renewable sources. As on-road RNG use grows in popularity and demand, how does the NGV sustainability factor expand? What is RNG’s full resource and emissions potential? What does RNG use mean for fleets looking to clear the air and further carbon reduction goals? And how can increased natural gas use in transportation impact an organization’s bottom line and environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) investment rating?

LNG is Making Waves B-309

Consumers’ growing focus on sustainability and lower carbon solutions along with new environmental regulations – like IMO 2020 – are spurring interest in natural gas use in marine and rail applications. Hear how LNG use as a marine fuel is benefitting the movement of people, goods, and commodities in every marine sector – blue, green, and brown water – and why natural gas is a natural choice for moving freight by rail. What regulatory pressures and economic motivators are pushing both sectors to natural gas? And what consumer forces
are enabling LNG’s play in this space?
